DO NOT GO WITH SECURE HOME WARRANTY!!! They have disappeared off the face of the earth. I have a plumbing problem and the phone number always leads to an answering service. I can’t get anyone to return my calls. They state I can email them too, but they have not returned any of my emails either. I am starting to believe the company does not exist. I have contacted my credit card company to try to dispute the yearly subscription I paid in November of 2017.

Secure Home really helped us out when our home electricity went out about 2 weeks or so ago. They understood urgency and were able to put us in contact with the electrician who fixed the issue the same day, and the visit was covered too by our elite plan. Really nifty warranty.

I bought two policies from them. My washer broke and it was the switch at the door that went bad. They took three weeks and still no repairman. They finally told me to get one myself and they would reimburse me. They said they don’t cover doors, even though it was not the door. I have read hundreds of similar complaints. These people are simply in business to take your money. I believe them to be a fraudulent company.

I had a claim in September in which secure home warranty dispatched for repair of a roof leak on the 17th (I called in on the 16th a day before). It was fair and well managed company that seemed to truly care to get my claim over and done with.

I signed up with Secure Home Warranty about six months ago. The first claim I had was for a fan motor on my air conditioning unit. The claim was denied. They said I had not fulfilled the 90 day waiting period while the policy said the effective date was 30 days from the date of payment. I question the fact that it had been over 90 days since the date of payment. I was told that the 90 day waiting period did not begin until after the 30 day waiting period so I’m essentially it was 120 day waiting period.

If i could give Secure Home Warranty a “zero” i would. Please do not waste your money or time enrolling in this company. This company is a bait-and-switch. The employees lie to potential customer telling them they will be fully covered after 30 days of enrollment and will only have to pay a service fee when repair is needed but that is not the case. In the fine print Secure Home Warranty states that they will not cover fully any product listed in the contract. They may cover the part but will not cover the labor to install the part. If you are enrolled as a customer with this company you are just throwing your money away. They are a SCAM!
I will be filing a claim with the Attorney General of Pennsylvania as well as the BBB.

AC needs new compressor in desert. 8 days of run around will finally pay $250 on a 2500 repair. Negative stars if possible. This is a scam company. Avoid at all costs. PS. have had policies with two other companies and never fun to deal with were fair when fulfilling agreement.

You read about a lot of reviews. Some are bad some are good. This company has agreed to pay for Half and only half of the repairs on my pool, after many phone calls.
I summit the invoice for the repair on August 20, 2016 and as of today, I had not received a penny. I put pick review on this site before, however they must have taken it down. Let’s see how long it will take them to pay me. They had no problem taking the monthly payment out of my checking account every month. Why should I have to keep waiting for my money. I have bills to pay also. Joyce Bonifacic of Flagler County

I was giving up on my fridge and I decided to call the home warranty to see why the power was so weak. They told me the engine that cools the fridge might be out of commission and they sent out a repair to be done. The repairman made the fix in such short time and the fridge was colder than ever before. I’m very satisfied as it wasn’t yet time for me to buy a new fridge.

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with.
As a real estate professional and owner of multiple homes we have routinely placed this type of coverage on our properties.
I have had a plan with Secure Home Warranty. We opted for and paid for optional pool coverage. We had a thermostat switch go out which they covered $150.00 of a $400.00 repair. A few month’s later we had the pool heater go out. They refused to cover the heater because they had covered a thermostat a few month’s prior. They said that plan is for pool as a whole and once they cover any one component that satisfies their requirements for coverage of anything else pool related forever. I have honestly never encountered anything so misleading and corrupt. This company should absolutely be avoided

I had a very faulty dishwasher but thankfully it was able to be fixed before my roommates were able to yell at me for my dirty dishes. The entire claim process was straightforward enough for me and the technician who came by was super polite too. Thanks!!!

This was provided with the purchase of my home, and I am very pleased with the service we received so far and glad that I had it.
