Don’t use this company. This is cheating.
If I can give them no star, I am willing to give zero star to them.
When I got this warranty, they explained me that all the heating or a/c issue will be included.
The only thing I need to pay is just $60 trip fee, so I got the premium plan.
My heater is not working fine, so I just called help.
When the technician told me about it, they could just replace the control panel whatever, and I need to pay only $60 for trip charge.
I got a phone call from the company and I heard that they couldn’t pay it cause the damaged one was control panel that they were covering, but the damage was from secondary source from some of my neighbors or some whether issue.
Wait a minute.
The damaged one, they pay. but they can’t because it was damaged from other source? Then, what is other source? How come they could be damaged?
They don’t know from where, and keep saying just from other source.
I feel like it is really ridiculous and they are trying not to pay money to fix it.
How come they say it is secondary damage if they don’t know where it came from?
They are cheaters.
I will cancel it. They told me I can cancel anytime but I need to pay cancellation fee. They even didn’t tell me about cancellation fee.
whatever, I am done.
Do NOT get this america’s first choice home club.
They are trying to rip off your money and don’t give any benefit.
Worst warranty company ever.

I’ve always had a home warranty, but I never liked American Home Shield. I fired them and terminated their service years ago. AFC is certified and approved, and they’re endorsed by the Better Business Bureau. They’ve been very professional, courteous and fast each time I submit a claim. They explain everything very well. A technician comes in within a couple of days and depending on my schedule, but they’re normally readily available within 24 to 48 hours. They’re very patient.
Overall AFC has been excellent because I bought this house April 1st, 2013, built from the ground up and they built the house so fast that I didn’t think I could’ve sued them for negligence. I made up my mind that whatever I replace, it would be top quality and it’d be a top-quality company that would install it. I’ve replaced four things so far, including the sump pump, but it wasn’t under the warranty so I had to pay by my own pocket. When January comes, I can renew my contract and I’m gonna add some more things on it. I’ve told my church about AFC, so I’ve been advertising for their company because I had good experiences.

I was doing research to replace another home warranty company that we had and liked AFC’s features the best. AFC allowed me to stay with providers that I already had a history with. With the exception of my stove guy, I have known only other two contractors that I had an issue with. I also love the fact that once I pay for something to be serviced, I don’t pay for that service again. I’ve had three claims and two of them went super smooth. However in the other claim, there was some miscommunication with the call center, but they were quick to remedy it once I had pointed it out to them. Other than that, I’ve had a great experience and I was very happy with the service from AFC Home Club. They are a great company to work with.

I am not one to normally write reviews. I am a simple person who just wants to get what they pay for and I believe in Karma. I needed to tell other about this company so they too can experience what it is like to have someone stand up to their word, which is not normal these days. I called AFC about 2pm when it got real hot here about a week ago. My house was 79 degrees and my pregnant wife was about to have a fit. They had the tech at my door within 3 hours, be it this was a heat wave and he was still there that day! He was working on the unit for about 2 hours and it ended up needed quite the repair, when all was said and done what was asked of me? NOTHING ALL I PAID WAS $60.00 deductible and he was on his way. I couldn’t believe how simple it really was. (Guess I am a skeptic.) I would highly recommend them to anyone I know, my house has been cool since.

The service is amazing! I can’t deny the fact that they are very responsive and is willing to help me doing the whole process. In fact they call me to follow up what other needs I want. I would love to recommend this company because it gives me satisfaction and guarantee for the coverage they given to me. I am a happy customer with them. I would love to recommend this company because the value of their homes is pretty reasonable and is worth it. The money you paid for it you won’t regret for the services and helpful employees they had. I would love to recommend this company because their homes are all accessible to malls, shops, or even restaurants. So everything is excellent and for me, no company can beat that.

First request for AC service got nothing but run around about previous service done or not done and found out terms that were not in the warranty over rode any claim ability. They were easy to contact, but when asked about getting service they were vague and finally refused to cover the service that was paid for in my warranty protection. Stay away from this company

Overall great service from both the provider and the service vendor. My only issue was total time from when first submitted claim to the actual time service was rendered took several days. Had this been an emergency I hope it would have been a different situation.

We just started working with this warranty company and I must say providing service with this company was very easy, smooth, and easy to provide service to. The authorization process took approximately 10 minutes. The repair was made the same day. Too many times people take the time to say negative things vs positive things. Our experience has been very good so far.

The company chosen to do our repair while available promptly, and showed up when they told us they would, did not seem prepared to look at the unit. The young man seemed to talk down to us, and was discussed that my husband did not know there was a restart button on the outside unit. He did not make us feel comfortable about the work he was doing.

Amanda was very helpful in dealing with our aging AC Unit. She stayed in contact with us throughout the whole repair and should future problems arise with this unit, she let us know if we have questions, simply call. She is here to help. We feel like she really knows that as a family with two kids on a budget, an expensive repair can hurt! Thank you to Amanda at AFC for treating us with care & understanding.

I called then for the first time, and I m impressed by their quick response and help to resolve my issue. My issue was regarding garage door, claim manager Britney who was handling my claim did great job by giving me multiple options.
I m glad that I chose AFC for my home warranty.

After I called to repair my washing mashine i was contacted back shortly. Engineers came by identified the problem ,ordered and replaced the part. Thanks you for your quick support

AFC is vey responsive and easy to work with! So much better than past home warranty companies I have dealt with! The customer service is top notch.
